    The late Paul Smith took the old Natural Light Bertram and restored it as the Bertram 38 Competition. Paul sold it to his friend Joe who keep it here on Lake St Clair untill Joe sold it last year. I believe it is now in Europe.

    I believe the number 57 on Jack's vest was the orginal racing number on the 35 Cigarette that was run by Mike A's dad.....Conspiracy......and Jack was the throttleman.

    That boat by the way ran a beautiful set of twin 4 barrels on top of each engine, rather than the period fuel injection stacks.

    I think Charlie nailed it. I became friends with Jack's son Michael from being at all the races(we were close in age) but, haven't seen or heard from him in years.
