    Thumbs up
This is Alabama; we speak English,

I love the idea of doing all government functions in English.

There should be a Federal law stating that English is the official language of the United States.

Every immigrant (legal or otherwise) should learn English!
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

I think that as long as the people who were born and raised in Alabama don't have a problem being required to learn english too... then it's all good.

Funny thing is how much of our (Alabama's) current growth is due to foreign companies and those pesky non-English speaking feriners--from the Germans who came with our Mercedes plant to those funny little people at the Honda and Hundai plants. Huntsville owes much of its properity to Werner Van Braun and his rocket-building buddies. Heck, in my home town of Cullman we have two new Japanese auto suppliers with a very substantial Japanese work force who came in to help with the plant.
