04-25-2010 12:48 PMIt sure seemed like the run was a little short of a mile. They ran well though. Martin ran Dan's boat through a few times. Haven't heard the speeds, Dan wasn't in it when we pulled alongside after a run. Someone else with Martin. And Martin was on the phone, probably with Dan?????

04-26-2010 07:45 PMSounds like there was a lot of confusion with unofficial and offical runs....with such a premiere event it would have been nice to have the course a 'true' mile to eliminate all the questions and debate over 'what if' and how fast. Live and learn!

At least it was the same for everyone on that day. Martin's son has never been in a race boat with his dad so we thought this would be the perfect opportunity. Martin ran the boat 124 on the all out run and I ran it 115 with the 30mph start. We where the fastest V in the Shoot Out. We are confident if we run it together we can get a little more at LOTO.

04-27-2010 04:50 PMI am wiht you RB1....when Fine Line said it did not retain heat i was skeptical! Realize it is not REAL leather...someone made a reference to black leather getting hot in the sun. of course it does. This is something unique.....glad you got a chance to test it out. I Think it will be a big hit with people who have been looking for dark colors or accents in there boat interior, but were to scared because of heat retention.
Rolf at ProRoc built the motors, they are about 950 HP each....they can run and produce some great HP....as you saw.
