    hight for the X/ weight

    Hi to my Python brothers. I have a 1981 24ft Python that came originlly with a 350/ Volvo 280 drive...Im in the process of re-doing EVERYTHING with a new little motor 489ci pushing 675hp It has a beefed up brovo 1 drive with imco upper/lower... I want to know what's the X dim you guys recommend/ also do yall know how much these boats weight.....thanks in advance

    I have my X set at 18" you can space it down easyer than re-doing the transom again.Check your exhaust clearance to the hatch . I wighed my boat before it was rigged, but I cannot remember what it weighed.

    , but tilt the engine a little forward,,so the CG stay's low !!!!!!!
    18-19 is a god # i guess u need a 2" shorty to do so though .?!

    the weight was 3600 and something rigged when Python built them. That was in the late 90's. Older models were a little heavier.
