    Never fails!

No mater how much you plan and prepare, the only thing i can count on is something going wrong to throw a wrench in my plans.
Weeks of preparation, making plans and 2 days before the boat is scheduled to leave for Havasu, we hurt a motor during testing. For 2:00 yesterday until 5:00 pm today I have done nothing but try and get a replacement motor or pair of motors. At 5 pm today I went home with a migraine, beat like a whipped dog. Out of options. I laid on the crunch and took a nap and just woke up recharged. I'm going to give it one last try tomorrow.

Anyone have a set of Sterling 1550's quad rotors they want to sell. I figure it's a long shot but it's worth asking.

I'm not out yet and really want to make it. Anyone have any feasible solutions, let me know.

I got a pair of 377/6.2's that are still under warranty until December if you want to idle around Havasu on two motors........

Gino play the lottery this week......you are scheduled for a change of luck!

Funny when I saw your last speed run w/ Johnny T throttling , I was thinking by the time you got ready to go boating the motors would be blown. Good luck on the engine search.

Stay home and fix it right. That is a long a$$ haul after a trying to marathon something as serious as yours back together.

I would agree. Don't rush it. The speeds and what's at risk is to high.
I bet you'll always have a spare motor now.

    What broke in the motor?
    How many hours?

    Good luck!

Gino, I have a brand new set of sterling 1550's with psi blowers, you would have to run without your hatches. It would look cool though. lol

Hadn't really thought of it that way, but now that its been brought up, 190+ in an open cockpit is not the type of thing one really wan't to be doing after last minute heavy thrashing. There will be many more runs.
