So my contract has been up for quite some time, and I am getting the itch for a new phone. I am either thinking iphone or bb. I already have an iphone and have read a bit about the "iphone hd" but that is not getting dropped until the summer I hear. I was looking at the bold 9700 and it looks pretty sweet. Is RIM going to release anything new and super cool in the next couple months worth waiting for? I tried to google it but did not find much info. So lets hear it guys!

The word is that the latest iPhone operating system will have multitasking.

The highlight of the iPhone OS 4.0 event was Apple finally giving in to its user’s demands for multi-tasking on the iPhone. The multi-tasking comes with restrictions, though, and is limited to fast app switching, background location services, VoIP services, audio streaming in the background, task completion and push notifications.

iPhone OS 4.0 round up – multitasking, finally

    But, not everyone is impressed.

I have a Samsung Jack. It has the latest Windows 6.5 operating system. It works great for me.

I also have an iPod Touch, so I can run most of the iPhone apps.

    Good luck!

My contract just ended on my iPhone 3G and was going to get a 3GS. Is the 4.0 going to require new hardware or will the 3GS work just fine?

Are there any new iPhone hardware upgrades coming out soon?

HTC Desire is out in the UK and I got one last week - it rocks after my BB Storm kept going back for replacement!
