10-08-2010 04:09 PMIt did work. It broke the kilo speed record in Nassau, Bahamas. It was engineered for 8 EFI 2.4 litre powerheads, 4 in each sponson, powering a common driveshaft via blower belts, to each speedmaster drive. It broke the kilo record with only 6 powerheads installed. The boat sat and rotted away on its tilt trailer, in front of Fort Apache, just behind the fence, for years.
