Nobody will ever accuse the Russians of being leaders in the style department.
They didn't have a monopoly on weird planes, tho... here's a British contribution. Would love to see this thing next to the Spruce Goose.

Jay's is callen an Ekranoplane. it's more of a ship. max altitude is 5 meters. It was a surface-effect ship. Designed to skim across the water on compression lift generated by the wing's proximity to the water surface.
