    1. Put an ad in the Classifieds- it's free!

    2. Pics and description would help. And where the boat is located.

Welcome Donald. What are you thinking of getting into when she sells?

And Chris is right, put it in our classifieds.

Anabolic has a horse power of 560.

Last-minute mechanical problems robbed team Anabolic of a debut at the 2008 Carib Great Race. However, the team of Jason Laing and Donald Webster are ready to vie for top honours in the C Class. Webster, the team’s throttleman is no stranger to the event, having raced in boats such as Castrol X and Sugar Stick. Laing is new, with only two competitive regattas under his belt.

Despite his inexperience, Laing was confident when speaking to the Guardian yesterday. He said: “I think we have a good chance on race day. Many people will look at me as being inexperienced when it comes to the Great Race, but I am familiar with the course. We have had several practice runs over the last few months and that makes me feel sure that we can produce good results.”

Anabolic has a 32-foot Doug Wright haul which is six feet shorter than most of the boats in its class but according to Laing, this will only be a factor if there is bad weather on race day. “The boat is a bit smaller than other boats in the class. That is both an advantage and disadvantage. We are a bit faster than other boats but if we have bad weather, we could have problems in the “Bocas.” Anabolic, which is in the same class with Rush and Rage, is powered by two Mercury 280 Racing 2.5 EFI OFFSHORE engines, giving the boat a total horse power of 560.

    Team
    Driver: Jason Laing
    Throttle: Donald Webster
    Boat: 32-foot Doug Wright
Engines: 2 Mercury 280 Racing 2.5 EFI OFFSHORE
    Total HP: 560 horse power
