Very happy with the Hawk LTS pads.

The stop my truck solo or with a 10K toyhauler or 6500lb boat great.

They seem soft, and even the first cold stop of the morning doesnt require high pressure, but they dont fade like soft pads usually do when hot.

I also dont see much if any brake dust.

Well see about lifespan but so far I like them.

Actually seems to be a bit less noise than the prior stillen metal matrix pads.

    although to be fair-

I have cross drilled rotors and they "buzz" which may be covering up the "base sound" of each pad.

I have about 24K miles on a set of Hawk LTS's and Brembo slotted rotors. I've found they need a bit of heat in them to get them up to their full stopping potential but they peform fine cold too. They'll leave a very fine, grey dust on chrome wheels if you do a lot of braking between washes. I also get a little noise out of them just rolling with no braking when they are cold. You hear it more when turning. You get them warmed up and it goes away. All in all I've been happy with them.

    Interesting comment about heat.

My Stillen pads practically required you to stand on the pedal for the first morning stop.
