Why would they want to spoil all their fun?

They got to go home that night and tell their pals the story about the clueless tool that couldn't tell the difference between spinning his tires and smoking his own clutch.

The problem with the Cheech and Chong reference is that if you were around to experience them, you really have little recollection anyway.

Sort of like Woodstock. If you remember being there, you weren't there.

Yeah. He had his $hit together.

I was going to make a wise-a$$ed crack about Corvette owners. But I've seen way worse from the Porsche and Ferrari guys.

And, I almost did the same thing the first time I drove a 930 Turbo. I let it get some revs before I dropped the clutch. Just enough revs to get into the turbo. The clutch didn't have a prayer. Fortunately, I noticed the dramatic disparity between the comparative rightward velocities of the tach needle and the speedometer needle before things got expensive.

The very first concert type event I ever went to was the arena comedy Up in smoke tour Cheech and Chong did.
