I have stock 7.4 Mercruisers with the Weber carb. Mercruiser p/n is 3310-806969a1.
Does anyone have the Carter part number for these carbs ? I want to do a rebuild and was told NAPA carries the kits under a Carter part number.

After doing some more searching it appears this is now a Carter to Weber to Edelbrock carb. Could someone confirm that and does anyone know the rebuild kit part number ?

The Carter AFB, Weber and Edlebrock are all the same basic carb and use most of the same parts. The stock Merc carb is 750cfm.

Never tried it so I do not know for sure. I don't what changed between the Carter, Weber and edlebrock, if anything really. I only had one Weber and I replaced it with a Holley. The Webers were notorious for hard cold starts due to internal leaks in the fuel bowls.
