    Pirate Latitudes
It was alright, but nowhere near his other books, it will make a good screenplay.

The Blackwater book is starting out as a wimpy liberal rant......I'll keep going.

the pirate latitudes seemed just like pirates of the Caribbean to me. the end was kind of corny too.

The only good Buffet book is "A Pirate Looks at 50(or 40) " the rest are unreadable.

I read "A Salty Piece of Land." More like "A Stinky Piece of Sh%t." I agree, "A Pirate Looks at 50" was a good book...his own life is actually WAY WAY better than anything he makes up.

Those of you who consider themselves "Parrotheads" should really read how he depicts offshore boats in "Salty Piece." I laughed my head off reading it...one of the characters literally shoots "the obscenely loud, tank-top and bikini crowded" boat with a machine gun.

Jon Ronson's THEM Adventures with Extremists

Good book that gives an insiders look at extremists in all countries, gives you good info on the idiots behind the "daily ko's" and their "soup kitchen" politics.

(He also wrote "Men who stare at Goats")

I may have to move to the tropics if for no other reason just to elevate my literary sensibilities.
