I liked it, but it is written more as a screenplay than a novel.

Just finished The Spy by Clive Cussler....not quite as good as The Wrecker by Cussler, but pretty darn good.

Anyone else read any Clive Cussler books? My wife recently turned me on to him....good stuff thus far. I am excited to read his nonfiction too.

I've read Quite a few of those, probably ten in all. I think "Iceberg" was the first.

I dont have time to read, when I do its mostly parts and service manuals. I carry the laptop to the ****ter to catch up on the news and emails. Last book I read a few years ago was How to Live with a Neurotic Dog. If your a dog owner its a must read. Be prepared to laugh your azz off. Before that was Turning the Tide, before that was Deep Decent. That about covers the last ten years for me.

Note to Tony's friends, don't borrow his laptop, haha!! As a dog lover I'll have to check that book out.

I've read every Cussler book. The ones with no co-writer are the best. The original Dirk Pit ones are completely his. The Oregon series are also pretty good.

Cussler books read fast. I can usually finish one going one way on a plane to Florida etc, or to the west coast. Then another on the way back.....

I sure wish Clancy would put some more stuff out other than his co-writer stuff.
Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

It's been on my xmas list for the last 4 years.

Yates' "Sunday Driver" is another favorite of mine. And one of my all time favorites is "Unfair Advantage" by Paul VanValkenberg.

Read 1984 and Brave New World back to back (relatively) recently. I have to say that Huxley paints a picture of someplace that sounds like a lot of fun... Get laid all the time, be happy, don't have to worry about knocking anyone up. I guess pregant chick porn would be impossible to come by, but seems like a smallish sacrafice to make. Damn shame that whomever is controlling the government didn't take a shine to this book instead of 1984... Would be a lot more pleasant that the cops-up-our-ass world that's unfolding before us as I type this.

Damon Runyon is a great read, and I usually do not like short stories.

The Road to McCarthy, around the world in search of Ireland by Pete McCarthy.

It's a travel book about Irish Pubs around the World, so far funny as hell.
