Magnum made 5 29-9 in 1973,as far as I know only one is left.It was raced as Thumper Too 73-76 and the Head Hunter 77-79,and was APBA winner in 1977. Also attached a photo of the outdoor version of it.Any one know if any other are still around. Bud

Boat sat in Palm Desert from 1980-2008 when we move it to Northern Ill.Currently it is in Naples Florida...Roger Munn of the famed Jolly Roger 27 Magnum, a master with engines will most likely re build the engine. We have always planned on returning it to its glory days, however can't do that till I sell some of my current Magnums,74 & 75, 28 Maltese and a 73 25 sport.Attached some photos on those and more on the 29-9 in a 2nd e-mail Bud

One of my friends owns a 32 Magnum. It used to be Boar's Hog with Outboards. It's now a custom boat with 900hp Blower Motors and #5"s. I will try and post some pic's for you.

The old school reunion had some really cool boats show up. I would love to take my Magnum or the Pearl there one year. I did not see Bud's Maltese in any of the pic's I looked at. i thought he had planned on going.

The car would not float, guess I will have to bring a boat next time. Magnum Force was still in Florida work being done on the drives.Brought it North for the Mecum auction which is not happing.I will try to get it out on the Lake before we put it away.Filled it up with 100 octane would like to see how it runs now. There are photos and video on it when it was called the Thriller.Hopefully will run it in Lake Geneva once the water patrol is gone and maybe on lake Michigan. Engine is almost done for the 29-9 Roger just needs to dress it out and then it goes over to Bob Oetringer for dyno work. Work on the boat panting and retro will be starting in about a month. I will keep you up dated with photos. Bud
