Geez Gino I am so surprised with you. Taking a boat that with a 525 ran 85-88 miles an hour and dropping in a 625. Are you that scared of the "Flying Coffin" that you need to put that much power in your new rig?

You know I am playin, I really dont care what motor you put in it, I am just glad your back racing again!!!!

ohhhhhh Smitty... Beaks and swim platforms dont count do they? W/o em I'm only 26 ft and since I have an itty bitty motor, how does Class 6 sound for me?

I think Ilmor has a great product and is great compitition for Mercury Racing, nothing against Merc. I see a great opertunity to there product for our next project..but just the thought of the flying coffin scares me...

    See ya soon

After talking to Smitty...most guys are runing in the 625+ so either the Ilmor 625 or the 650 will work...we also talked about the drive...there is no real cap on the drive, with the Ilmor 650 we will probalby go with the Indy drive...if we go with the 625 we might just leave on the XR...
for what I have paid for XR's and rebuilding them its something I would like to just have a engine drive package and not have to worrie about..

but either way we will not be able to run over 75mph...

Plus....we might put little Bobby in the bow for ballast wrapped in bubble wrap...that should slow us down to 74.9999

Gino we will pull the motor out of our snow plow truck if you want to run Class 6 we will just need it back before it snows.

The last time I saw "little" Bobby about two months ago, he's been eating good. Round lil' fella so you may have to re-think this one..

I heard Bobby was not missing any meals....that's why we are thinking the Indy drive to handle the extra load....
