    There was a 35 awesome with the same paintjob minus the "AWESOME" that sat at Lakefront marina in brokerage for years. The boat was beat to hell and if you looked at the hull just right you could see what looked like a string of bullet holes down the side that someone did a half ass repair job to hide.

    Coast Guard seizure. They used to shoot them up with a .50 before sending them to auction.

    If you think about it, the Awesome was the original Cafe Racer.

    yep, Dawsons a good guy, He's in my area and was a turn boat for a few of our races. Actually surprised to see it for sale, he really enjoys that thing.

    A long time ago he used to be "Race Patrol" at just about every race, In a 24' Sunsation Rocket towed by a color matching Lincoln Mark IV. I remember his Batman business cards, he was a cool cat.

    lol, yea i still have his card and remember that Sunsation. Dawson Baker, hope he's not getting out of boating. He's one of the good ones for sure.

    I was thinking that was the same boat for sale here... The one at lakefront got around. Is that the one in the "Fast Boats" video?
