I am in the middle of re-doing my flat deck and still haven't figured out what paint sceme to go with. I'm thinking I wan't to stay classic but updated. The first picture is how it was. Anyone got any ideas

    thanks Kris Vogt

I'm a big fan of dark full sides....I.E. the pics bellow. Dark blue, black, or silver all look good. Easy to paint (ie cheap), Simple, subtly ellegant and timeless.

I would stay classic. White sides with the hockey stick stripes in your favorite colors.

Thanks for the replies. I do like the hockey stick graphics, but more modern.

We joked about leaving it with the Navy grey look.

Dave it was nice seeing you again in Key West, I would be interested in seeing any of your renderings.

I have to agree with Tank.

Here's our example of classic, simple paint scheme.

Hey, Kris. It was great meeting you in KW and talking boats.

On yours, you could do a blend between classic and modern. Viperfitness did a very faint indian-head shadow under his paint that looks good. You could do all-black (or maybe navy blue) and have the CIGARETTE logo ghosted under it in greys and pearls.

That's a very cool boat. It looks like a giant Donzi classic.

It was nice meeting you as well. I just don't remember Friday night so well and for some reason I didn't feel so good Saturday morning.

My boat is a very light lay-up and the hull sides are not that straight, so I am afraid to put a dark color on the sides. I looked at "Old School Muscle" in Key West and that boat is much staighter than mine.

Definitely a compliment. The Cig 36 also looked like a Donzi, but the lines weren't as clean as the smaller one.

Yeah, we were both a little wobbly...

Here are some ideas. The second one would hide a multitude of sins.

    Just ship it to Glassdave.
