Sorry, Just returned from a Orlando trade show so once again the boat was put on hold for a couple weeks.

But I started pulling wires and removing the old stuff. I was going to re-paint it but figured I'll wait till spring as I will be walking on the
    boat this winter while finishing.

Yes, I have a couple power-heads lined up from someone who just had them freshened up by JSRE.

Wetting the entire shops floor with a garden hose, just before spraying a large project, especially when you don't have a spray-booth, helps quite a bit to capture & hold the dust down. Boats coming along nicely.

So did I, But I started another house project that killed most my summer.. and the boat is now a hobby, when it gets done is not a issue. I'm not going to stress over it. I work on it when I have time, and if I dont have the time it can sit in the shop.

Just a quick mention in regards to my last post ~ are you a wannabe - racer or the real deal , and with that in mind .....from the looks of things .........................all you are posting in detail is .....................when you drill a hole , run a wire , and not to mention another house project which most likely is all we will here about all winter long .

You could have at least blamed it on the other race boat and the work you had to do to it, plus racing it etc....

I have to admit that I have an automatic smart ass in me that wants to making biting and demeaning remarks about other peoples boat designs, paint, engineering, motivations - you name it. Very fortunately, I have a number of men in my life that insist that I ask myself these three questions: Is is true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
People we meet in life are either a Blessing or a Lesson

Started 02-01-2010 Yes its a L O N G drawn out thread no doubt, not sure about a wanna-be-racer comment ? Last winter was spent working on the cat and this v-bottom. This boat started off a nicely painted boat less motor. We stripped it down, replaced the floor, replaced some bulk heads, raised the X, replaced a couple stringers and re-rigged.. The cat is fun, like I said no hurry to finish and I do take on a few to many projects.
