Cutting the back seating area and rounded the corners was next on the list.
After the corners were cut I ground the deck flush with the cock pit walls

    Thanks Paul.
But no beach grill for us, we spend most our weekends anchor out on the water with a cold drink in hand

My work schedule opens up in 10 days were I should be able to start working on her again at a good pace.

The canopy will be custom project, Once it's shaped I'll make a mold from the plug to build the workable part.

Ok, I'm back at it. Problem is I only have 2 nights 8pm-12pm that I can work on her so it's going a little slow..

Last night I started building the plug for the canopy. Seemed simple enough...

I cut the tallest part of the canopy rib first. The angles were made from bending a think piece of molding than cut out with a jigsaw.

Next step was bending the thin wood strips across the span. I'm not sure if thats the right way to do it but it was easy for me. once every thing was tacked in a would measure and cut than install a rib every 12-14".

If you notice the rib closes to the dash, I cut that out and placed my seat in the cockpit to make sure my head had enough room and my line of site was good.
