Dave Artie Here is a cut job I did, they had a Cat with the steps in the last quarter of the boat, the thing was dragging the keels and ran however it pleased,I cut 5 feet out of the middle from the front step foreward.

The now shortened front was cut in the chine and sides flared open to match the geometery of the aft section and a piece of steel was bent around it through bolted with all thread bolts that way if a nut got resintited the outer nut would release it.

Those pieces on the sides are 2" steel channel.

The way I had that system is the regulator could be shut out of the system with a valve.

Thats pretty cool to have the whole place plumbed for the system. For now i am going to leave this as a cart mounted system with all my bag stuff on it. Working on the regulator as we speak

Yes I myself always wanted a shop plumbed that way,we had to start on that building from like zero, heavy war damage and fire but it worked out well in the end. Takes all the fun out of it just switching on the pump.

Another picture you can see how we cut this thing and matched up the joint. There is the piece I cut out just put a pair of transom eyes on it and lifted the section out.

They had pad lifting the boat but as heavy as this thing was and the screwed up bottom it never ran well, until it left the operating room that is.
