WOW, awesome! Is this a stretched 36? Staggard or side by side?

Regardless of all the bs Thad started, I heard from a few people that those molds were pretty awesome. I know #^ and !£%£ said they were concentrating on the smaller boats last time I asked about the 41. Can't wait to see more pictures.

(assuming this is the long awaiting €¥#*>¥+ 41 made with the molds Thad had designed for "Apache.")
Thad was alright he wanted nice stuff is all.

Huh? OK, whats the story here? Rework? Are these molds from Mystic? or Pantera?

I have no opinion either way as I was not involved with his dealings, all i know is bs usually follows from both sides when his name is brought up. Like I said, all I have consistently heard is the molds are beautiful.

The molds were originally designed for Thad Allen of "apache," and pantera bought them when that deal fell apart. According to an article posted on OSO, John helped rework the design. (according to the article, he has helped with Pantera's design before) Just reporting what was said in the article, I have no direct info, if any of this is incorrect feel free to correct me.

TRISTAR, thanks for the input, although I would like to hear more about where, how and why these molds came about. It is interesting to know the history and then the realization. I think Pantera is onto something here, just can't figure out what took so long!

I'd like to hear the history of them, the design, how they ended up at Pantera, etc.

Im always up for learning the inner workings of the marine industry, even if it results in a deleted thread,

Jo and Pepe have said for a while now if someone wants a 41, the molds are ready to go. A small pic (of the deck) with some drawings have been on their website as well. I think it was a situation where they didnt have an interested buyer, so they were going to wait to pop a boat until one came around. Im extremely excited for them that they now have the opportunity to build this new model.

Very cool. I can't wait for about five years until there are some used ones on the market so I can actually afford one. Definately tops on my "next boat list"

You mean with 3 525s? 41 is a lot of plastic to move with only 1100 hp.

I think that there was more to that conversation IF I recall it correct.
I "THINK" it was something that Mr. Cal Connel (remember him?) had told me one day.
Needless to say he was quite a bit older than myself who @ the time was in my middle 20's. Mr Connel said,
pepe you better decide quick if you want to be a good boat builder or a good businessman! Up till today I have NOT forgotten those words.
    Later, pp @ pantera.
