I've got a cruiser I might be willing to sell you. It's even close to home for you...

    Yeah, but it's pretty new.
I doubt that it is phucked up enough to meet my extremely low standards.
Seriously, that is a newer Wellcraft...probably still worth a few bucks.

Yo Fundy, driving along the ottawa river today, thewater is definitly down a couple feet. Watch yourself this weekend. no doubt you know the area, but you should be safe running towards west sister staying north of the lighthouse.

Yeah, my daily commute takes me along the western basin, Morrin Point and Halfway Creek. The River Raisin too. It was pretty clear that the water was out. Wind change could bring some back, but I won't go anywhere near the north bay and the western basin. No way. I'll do the long ride out from Bolles and then stay in the channels or north of the Harbor Light.

In general... it went ok. The engines run and idle really nice. Shifts like butter. Things are dry and tight except we weren't getting enough water through the sea pumps so we didn't run it. I thought that we changed the impellers, but we could have forgotten. We re-used the sea pumps because Bill had just bought them before I bought the boat.
We are gonna check em. We had good water through them on the hose, but the city pressure was the helper.
It really sounded good in the water. Looked awesome too. The pics do it no justice. We replaced the water system from the hose in the transom assy to the exhausts, so we are gonna look at impellers first.

John, Congrats on getting her this far. I know the first time she's sitting in the water has got to feel good, even if you didn't take her out. I'm still not 100% that the "floaty" part of my boat works. I have no reason to doubt, but I've yet to see it myself.
The boat looks great! Looks a lot better in the water (where it belongs) than on a trailer
You're right on that edge of really $hitty water levels out there that change quick with a breeze. Be careful, and be safe.
Can't wait to hear how everything goes, but at the same time, don't tear anything up in haste during the testing/set-up shakedowns due to really thin water.
    Good luck!

    Is '98 still considered newer?
I haven't seen it in a few years - I'm afraid of how phucked up it could be.

    Bastard.

So... the crew slaved all night and is going back to the ramp this morning.

The floaty part works, the vroomie part works. Now we will make sure that the squirty part works.
