    My next door nieghbours 6.0 Ford had $35,000 in warranty repairs.....left him stranded on the side of the road several times just driving around town....at one point it sat at the dship for a month and they didnt know what was wrong with it!

    WOW BIG Daddy stopped at the local Ford dealer today to pick up some injectors and they had a BIG pile of 08s & 09s diesel motors that they say majors problems ...

    I had an 04' with one recurring issue; EGR recirculation pump. Basically smog equipment but when it went, you stopped moving. Read later many just deleted it.

    Have an 06' now and it has been a great truck. The strange thing is how some have such grief and others do just fine. I have/had Edge tuners on both BTW.

    I havnt talked to him in awhile about it but if I remember correctly it had some faulty injectors that leaked fuel and ''watered down" the engine oil, so to speak and siezed the motor......I cant remember in the end if Ford gave him a new motor or if they rebuilt it.......I do know he was in a battle with Ford over new or rebuilt...he wanted new.......he traded the thing in as soon as he got it back and has a new Ford with their new motor......its been good so far.

    at least the guy has a little bit of sense of humor left. I think I would have torched it in front of the dealer.
