No the 28's came from the original Cobra mold blocked at 28 feet, I think there was a new 28 hull in that mold when it was sold.

Isn't the 28' a shortened version of the 33' hull?

I had a thread going once upon a time on the other site called "Dans picture stash" or something like that and was posting until it got hit by the Azzhats and I stopped.

Chris Yes every bit of that operation very well documented by photos, Danny was very careful about photographing everything built there ,1000's upon 1000's of very cool photos.

    northernoffshore,
Sorry didn't catch onto the question until you posted the photo of the 28' Latitude. The 28' Latitude does not have any affiliation to the former 28' Powerplay. I believe the 25' and 28' Powerplay molds were purchased by someone else during the sale.

No, there was an removable insert made for building his 28; The plug was finished to Danny's standard and inspected by him, this was placed in the mold with the finished side facing the transom,Then it and the remaining bottom along with the transom and cutting flange of the mold were Gelcoated with tooling gelcoat and laminated like to a mold thickness.
