bajabob, just ignore remarks like that. My Donzi 22 Classic ran 73-75 with the stock 496 HO. I repowered with a low hour HP525 EFI and Bravo XR and have hit 85.8 and I think I'll find a little more. Here is a vid of a quick run up over 80 on Lake Erie: (all gps speeds)(some gauges are out because the ECU wasn't flashed yet)

    And another video I like:

Not sure what your asking for but ? As Mahopac Marine stated My 08' 288 ran 70ish with the stock 496 HO 425hp . I increased the HP to around 625 and picked up 10mph . I am currently building another motor which is expected to be around 725hp and I am expecting another 5 mph which should get me close to 85ish . Hope that helps , Good luck

Mahopac is always doing things big in the NY always wanting to go faster and thinking outside the box which I think has pushed the business to what it is today. Look at the 288 with the 525 that thing is crazy fast! I have never felt power like that even in a car.

I doubt very much anyone has tested the maximum limits of the design with extensions and shorties.

I'll do some checking and searching.....
