Okay, I'm really going to do some racing this season. I'm running my stock boat in P5 and will be doing some of the POPRA races.
One of the requirements is that all race team members have team shirts. I'm on a limited budget as I am self-funded and have no sponsors. I did have my boat wrapped with company logo a couple years ago and my boss paid for it. He was sponsoring me in poker runs but as the economy did it's thing, well you know, no more $. I am a commissioned salesman so I'm leaving the wrap on as it could get me some jobs (commercial roofing). Plus, I think I may be able to deduct expenses on my taxes.
Anyway, I'm looking for a place to get some race shirts made up for reasonable money. Anyone have a hook up on these?
Thanks.

Speedwear in Huntington Beach is your local guy. Dave Thomas is the owner and an ex racer.

Hey Ryan, my driver is John, the dude who picked up that truck in Palmdale/Lancaster for you a couple years ago. Finally getting him back in the boat.

01-07-2010 08:19 PMThe people I use for the Serious stuff have a procees where they can take an image and dye-sub print it on a shirt. Works good for short runs as you don't have to pay for screenprinting screens.
They also have a selection of generic catalog-style team shirts that you can embrioder. Not terribly expensive and you can get them in quantities of 6.

01-07-2010 10:58 PMIf you're looking for the lowest price, the ink transfer system seems to be much cheaper. Mine done that way were a lot less than the embroidered ones we had done.
RPM's lady in LOTO was very helpful and reasonable.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

Our last shirts we did were just generic polos embroidered locally, cost about $20 including the shirt. On a budget keep it simple. Don't feel like you have to speed thousands like many do. Also the cost of team apparel will be less if you don't race with a woman.

Hey Rat.
Cool shirts and I really like the boat on them.
