Not a huge difference in the two leagues. If you have a kid that just enjoys baseball either would be good. Little League is a larger league and usually invites more competition.
How old is the boy/girl in question?

It's for my son. I know it doesn't matter at this point... He's 4. Tball sign up is this weekend for both leagues. I figured if one is signifcantly better than the other for some reason, I'd get him going on that one, even if there's not real benefit until later.
I'm leaning towards PONY since that's what my next door neigbors kid plays and they're pretty up on it. Plus I can register for PONY online today and don't have to miss any of the Polar Bear ski race to Catalina saturday... (I know, father of the year!)
Thanks! I figured you'd probably be the guy to ask, but I put it out there just in case anyone else had any input.

The only REAL advantage to Little League is later on. (11-12 yr olds) The All-Star tournaments are VERY organized and the opportunity to continue to play against serious competition is there.
At the age of 4, let him play with his friends. IMHO.

put em in little league, either one is probably good for now. Then if he's really into it in a few yrs, travel ball is where its at. I played for Little Ceasars for 6 yrs. Time of my life.

T-ball instructional (they'll run the bases backwards) and then coach pitch until he's 8-9. Machine pitch is good next!
