Trip back was good. Lost no wheels or tires and we even pumped diesel fuel into both diesel trucks!!!!! Last several days were plagued with a lot of snow dust and a few cool whiteouts but in general, the riding was very good! I must commend everyone on the fact that there was very little drinking during our daily runs which was definitely good because by Saturday they were doing road blocks by the State Police and the DNR. Mainly, they were scanning for stickers we think because those in the group that were stopped were able to pass right thru. My little guy and I were lucky and were not stopped because the state of IL has their head severely plunged up their own butt and it takes up to 2 months to get your renewal sticker and BZ's sled had a sticker but it was on the hood in the trailer (OOPs, another tree climber from his previous trip) but it would not been a problem because we had all needed documentation. I can not lie either, riding BZ's Yami was fun, the 4 stokes have amazing acceleration and are very smooth. Boondocking, well lets just say that they better never put that on any of the brochures for the Apex!!!! ?Thanks to the group, we had a blast, even though the whole group is "A bunch of freaking Jerks!!!!!!!" LOL Next time, we are going to abduct BZ and Spag Joe and not let them leave, would have been even more fun if that is possible!!!

Damn lugs came loose after about 1500 miles of me doing the brake service....sheared all the studs off the drum. Drunk Joe and I had to go to the nearest town and find new studs and lugs.We found the old wheel in the median, the tire was good but the wheel wasnt..lug holes eggshaped.

Then i put rotella 15w40 in my sleds oil reservoir. Didnt think of it till about 40 miles into the first day of riding. Had to pump it out the next day and fill with polaris oil. That polaris gold oil is the same color as regualr motor oil.Thank god it was a polaris, and not a doo, otherwise i'd have burned it up for sure! Must have been some residue of gooey rotella in my pipe afterwards, keith was following me and there were flames coming out my exhaust the first few miles on a long straightaway. He said it looked cool.
thanks you blaming me you freakin jerk!

She came over the hill and saw Joe waving from the right and me waving to the left and did what came naturally...went straight. Actually, she locked up the brakes on the downhill, the sled went sideways and she bailled while it rolled into the powder. Busted a brace for the windshield and mashed the bars down and bent them. We raised the bar back up and she was leading the group at 90 mph later in the day. I'll bet not too many wifes would do that...
