the whole 16 years of salt thing kind of scares me, you see a lot more corrosion on the metal stuff, fittings, etc than you see on boats up here

Here are the articles on this boat and LEOPAJM's Cyclone. They were both featured in Powerboat Magazine.

Thats the one. That boat runs strong. I love how soft these Sabers ride. That hull is a work of art.

Hey man dont worrie about the salt to much. ive been hanging with the pantera guys for a long time now and It really seems like the owners of salt water take better care of fresh water boat. Ie Most every salt water boat is washed twice, Once before the boat ride and One really good wash after. Including motor wash out and a good coating after a run of motor parts.

Main problem with salt is the rigging. you need to just plan to redo it all. Even with the age of the boat its almost going to need a rerig job just because of the age.

Few things i learned about salt boats that kills alot of things is if the boat has a manual speed guage that is ran by water pressure. that line usually leaks behind the dash and kills all the guages and metal. its not something you really see till you open the can of warms.

yeah, my thoughts exactly, needs rerig and lots of work, if price comes down to reflect it i may own it. in my experience projects cost twice as much and take 3 times the work you first figure on, thats just me though, i am my own worst enemy, cant just do enough to get by, gotta be just right lol
