    Dale Carnegie
I read Dale Carnegie back in high school. I read "How to win friends and influence people". The book is every bit as relevant today, as it was when it was written. He said the only way to win an argument, is to avoid it. The more you try to convince someone that you are right, the more sure he is that he is right.

Any fool can criticize, complain, and condem, and most fools do.

Funny you mention that. I was going to say some thing about posting in 3rd person on my original post but was in such a rush to get 2 post up back to back before one of these post whores was able to post I forgot about it.

I'm going to direct the $$ I owe him for winterizing my boat towards the cause, he just doesn't know it yet! SShhh- going to be a surprise!

Thanks folks! Life is good- just trying to do my part to give a little back.

Imco- good job to your wife! My wife-to-be treats many that can't afford health care all the time; at times I wish I had a skill like hers to be able to help more myself. Wish the world was a different place so trying to do our part to make it that way!

Nice Mark, and glad you let us know....

I know we have some very private people as members, but it is nice to know about things like this so we can let any friends we have in these areas know of programs they can help with....

Keep up the good work, even though it may tarnish some of your reputation......

Btw, that girl Dawn I mentioned that runs FROG was Ms Hawaiin Tropic in Daytona. Just in case Mark wanted to metion he'd hit it. She's the tall girl with short dark hair. She's still a damn good looking woman, even though that was probably 30 years ago.

Mark, sounds good what you did, sorry did not read every detail but it is amazing how much we can all do to help. As you know I love to party and entertain, so I now combine that selfish hobby with one that might do a little bit of good, I just haulded 480lbs of food to the local food bank, I asked people that came to my home for a Chrismas party to bring canned and boxed goods and they did, no biggie, not anything huge but each time I entertain anyone I do something along that line. Sometimes it a 50/50, sometimes it's gloves and old coats, or diapers. One time I had a birthday party for my dog and asked people to bring stuff for the Humane Society. MM great job, I hope you inspire people to follow your lead.

Just so you know, I'd hit it, if that wasn't her husband standing behind her.

So, is she in your mom's age group? If so, just call me daddy.

Nah- my Mom is older than that. I forget I'm all the way up to 37 some times; even more so around 2AM when the bars close but less so around 5AM when my alarm clock goes off.

If my mind knew how old my body really was, I wouldn't do half the stuff I still do!
