What's out there? Prefer the most factual reading, but will look into anything

Don Aronow: The King of Thunderboat Row by Michael Aronow- this was a good read. They are out of print so going to cost you a $350+ to get it (notice correct spelling of last name vs your title post as well).

Searace- by John Crouse has a lot of history, the bible of history, but was kind of boring to me. A lot about stats and who won what with what times when but was more in chart format than telling a story IMHO. Worth buying at $75 but not my cup of tea is the best way to say it. HORBA sells them

One day Donz Jr will return my copy of Thunderboat Row. He's had 5 years to read it. Ahh, maybe he needs a little longer LOL

I picked up a copy of Thunderboat Row for Rob when we got married 6.5 years ago as his wedding gift for $75. I can't believe the price they want for the same book today.

Offshore Racing wasn´t designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.

There may or may not be bootlegged copies out there for those that just wanted to read the book vs coughing up a bar bill for a copy...

If one were to have a copy if they even existed; can't say I blame them since they took it out of production...

I just finished Blue Thunder By Thomas Burdick
It was a decent read...and only $7.95, used on Amazon. But I can make a sleeve that says King of Thunder Boat Row and sell it to you for $250.
