The heat is making this difficult. I have failed to follow my own rule. Get it done in the off season. I tried but got busy early this season. Sometimes days and a few times weeks have gone by before I had a chance to get back in..

It is now becoming a test of will more than anything.

Jim. I have an idea that may help you on this project. I may be thinking out of the box, so tell me if my idea won't work. But I think you need to JUST GET IT DONE!

I know .. There is always another paying customer with a boat to fix. Next week I go racing. My wifes company party is at a waterpark on the lake June 2.. I might have to stop answering my phone so I can get it done.

The plan is to bring it to the party.. I have new indicator cables to install. New intakes on the way. New carpet that needs to be ordered.....

I feel like a barefoot shoemaker.

Jim, I only seem to see drains at the bottom of only one bulkhead.....
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks

They will all have drains.. There were not any from the cabin door forward from the beginning. That contributed to most of the problems it had.

I am prepping for the floor installation today. Drilling a couple holes in the fwd end of the cabin floor will be part of that prep. The drains you saw are tubes that pass under the fuel tanks to the engine compartment.

I am now using extra slow kick. Much easier to work with in the heat.

Here is what I got done today.. tomorrow the floor goes in..

The holes will all get pvc epoxied in. The rear tubes are buried. I decided I would use a die grinder to clear the hole as opposed to trying to work around them.. I have paper towels wedged in them.

I want to just GET IT DONE so I can get the cabin interior out of the house, the cockpit parts out of my garage, the glass materials out of my shop, and throw my glass work clothes away.

    And most importantly use it.

    This was my last ride..12 13 09

I can't wait until the next ride.

The lake level is up 30 some feet from these pix.
