This is tragic. Our hearts go out to their families.
These are different drivers and throttlemen than the ones that raced at KW World's, correct?
Our racing community is world-wide. This is a sad day for us all.

Itīs been a bad year for me too and now this, my relatives are terrified if I keep on running that small cat.
I was on Facebook When Michael Stancombe posted the news first. We found together a lot of info and clips of the accident.
It was just bad luck.
My deepest condolences to Victory Team and the families and friends involved.Offshore Racing wasnīt designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.

12-27-2009 06:18 AMDoes the UIM have a mandatory process to investigate the accident in the thought of understanding what went wrong with the safety and what should be done to improve it?

Yes and there is a process going on, might take years.
