I use to ride 30-40 times a year in highschool, but when I moved to university that number went down to under 10 times a year. I had shoulder surgery a couple years ago and that took me out for a year and it was really crappy. After instructing snowboard for 4 years, I sometimes think it would be nice to go back to doing it, but I just don't want to give up my weekends anymore.

We usually ride at Mt St Louis and Blue Mountain in the Barrie/Collingwood area or Holiday Valley in Ellicotville NY.

    Anybody else into riding?

Been snowboarding for 20 years. Not nearly as much as I used to now that I have a family, but I still try to get out whenever I can.

I am a novice snowboarder. I started with my kids about 6 or 7 seven years ago. We went a lot at first. Haven't been in a couple.. Heavenly ruined me.. I love that place. I have been wanting to explore Salt Lake resorts.

Novice riders were always my favorite to teach because they have the ability to progress so quickly. It's not uncommon to go from novice to inter/adv in a season. It sort of sucks teaching expert riders because all I can do is nitpick about what they are doing wrong, and at the end of the day, they usually feel like they have accomplished very little.

Used to ski alot, trips out west were the best. Most of my trips now (which aren't as frequent) are to teach my 3 boys to ski. Up to 5 years ago I was often running the 1/2 pipes and table-tops or getting carried outside of the "groomed" resort area for open country. Just isn't worth the risk of finding a way home with a couple kids in tow anymore.

heavenly is one of my favorites, kirkwood is usually alittle better snow, but for the night life and the convience of leaving the hotel and a minute walk is why i goto heavenly, usually goto tahoe twice a year.

It is so cool to ski at 7 to 10 k ft. Sunshine, ski into a cloud and snow storm,, moments later back in the sunshine. I like exploring the untouched areas. In Heavenly I fell in love the "glades." I don't go crazy. I just cruise.

I like Holiday Valley or Seven Springs, whenever I get north for a family visit, last year was first one with no skiing involved but that will not happen this year.

    I like Breckenridge the best.

As you may be able to tell from my avatar I enjoy skiing. Mostly racing. Raced since I was in 4th grade all through high school then NCAA and now mens league and going to start doing more MACC racing.

I actually need some advice on a new boards since I'm not as into it as I used to be..... I have a LIB 164 (don't recall which model right now) and had a Bryan Igucci 156 before that.... I'm 5'11", 178 lbs. I like to free ride with some alpine mixed in the most but like the park too... So I guess you can say I need a board that does it all... Any suggestions?

My last trip out to Breckendrige beat the hell outta my LIB so I think it might be time for a new...

I ski the more i can... around 30 times a year. Usually in Mont Tremblant (its amazing how little people there is during the week, compared to the weekends, and the pass is pretty cheap for students). Or on week nights I stay in the lower Laurentians, but you get bored fast of those 700 ft denivelations. Last christmas we went to Salt Lake and had a blast! We're leaving again on the 26th

p.s. im the ugly one on the right!
p.p.s. those are the first pics I post, hope I got it right
