Nice- they earn and deserve their sponsorship dollars!
Gotta look past the boating crowd- we are already addicted; getting exposure elsewhere is the ticket IMHO.

Tampa has the Best goalie of the whole NHL as we speak.... originating from guess where..

So no wonder Haggin teams up with the bestOffshore Racing wasn´t designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.

12-22-2009 08:56 AMActually, he's in 26th place as far as official NHL goalie rankings go, and Tampa as a whole comes in 24th out of 30 teams, but hey don't let that get in the way.

12-22-2009 01:15 PMI think the best goalie of the NHL is the one that just broke another record last night, and is currently back stopping the number 1 team in the League.

and he's ranked last as a starter for Team Finland.....
There are several Finnish NHL goalies vying for the starting Olympic job. Rivals for Kiprusoff may include Minnesota's Niklas Backstrom(8-9-2, 2.66, .909), Toronto's Vesa Toskala (1-4-2, 3.82, .869), Nashville's Pekka Rinne (9-4-0, 2.38, .914), Boston's Tuukka Rask(5-2-1, 2.31, .917), Chicago's Antti Niemi (4-1-1, 1.85, .921) or Tampa Bay's Antero Niittymaki (6-1-3, 2.02, .936), who played for Finland at the 2006 Winter Games.

Yep also Jussi Markkanen would have a spot if he choose to but I think he´s lost interest as his younger son fell of from the window of the 5th floor condo in Moscow last year, Jussi and family is our family friends.
