12-04-2009 09:34 PMThanks a lot, mofos.
Great idea for a thread, Cletus.
For me, a seriously good year for pix... 23 events in '09.
I'm looking for the year's top 50 shots now-
these are a few from the last 8 events.

Jay: I know I haven't gotten back with you on the pix but the group on the right would be great if we could make it pretty large? Also, love the stationary shot behind the boats on EDOCK:-)

12-08-2009 02:08 PMThat's a cool idea...
I really like groupings of boat shots because there's so much color and so much to look at.
For that kind of application, could be done on proofing paper-
with special SOS discount, $50 plus 10 s/h.
Might think about a very light background- light blue or gray
so it would break any harsh reflection off the white,
easier on the eyes, especially if yer drinkin tequila.
I usually ship within 48 hrs, unless I'm in Key West.
which is where I wish I was right now.
I'm really enjoying this thread. thanks.

12-08-2009 02:53 PMOne of Jay's skills has always been his use of photoshop. He can zero in on the real subject matter of any particular pic and take out parts that dont add to the whole " THEME " of the picture.
Here is a perfect example of his workmanship where he has taken Stinson out of the picture.
