Walmart offering $50 gift card with Wii purchase

Sad that you missed all the Black Friday sales? Walmart wants to take advantage of that feeling of being left out, with a series of December sales and price drops. The most exciting offer: for one week (from December 5 -12), every Wii will come with a $50 gift card, effectively dropping the price to a ridiculous $150.

The Nintendo Wii Console includes:

Nintendo Wii console
One Nintendo Wii Remote
One Nintendo Wii Nunchuk
Nintendo Wii Sports Game Disc (5 games: Baseball, Tennis, Golf, Bowling and Boxing)

I suspect Walmart "over purchased" on WII units and after they didn't sell enough last week they now need to fire sale the rest or risk having a $99 sale in January.

Prior to BF they had xBox360 arcade for $199 with 100 gift card. Sold out that morning pretty quickly

The Wii has 480p graphics. That's as good as a progressive scan DVD player and requires the component video cable.

yes... get the better cable. you can get one at monoprice for far less $$ than anywhere else though.
