Zeigler, H. J. "Bucky," 63, of Sarasota, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Thursday (Nov. 9, 2006) He was a native of St. Petersburg, and moved to Sarasota, 18 years ago. He owned and operated Gulfwind High Performance/GFE Racing Engines. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Dean-Zeigler; two sons, Clay, Largo, and Corey, Wauchula; his mother, Martha Zeigler, and a brother, Robert, both of St. Petersburg; and four grandchildren. Palms Funeral Home, Sarasota.

11-17-2009 05:36 PMWow I had no idea he was a great guy. Bucky was Gene W. partner he built Gene's racecar engines. As you would expect of one of Gene's guys he was always fair and made good power. I am bummed

sorry to here as well,, i useto race against his sons cory and clay at desoto speedway !
