66° on 11-7-09 was too tempting. Unfortunately, the waters were really, really quiet I only saw a handful of fishing boats and one other sport boat. Some dude fishing from shore was yelling and screaming at me for some reason Hey dude, the slow-no-wake buoys are gone, so STFU
Boat Yard was open, but quiet.
Fratello's was open, but quiet.
Lakeside looked like a shrink wrap ghost town.

11-07-2009 06:41 PMI did get a little nervous going across lake Butte Des Morts and the depth gauge dropped below 2.5 feet as I was doing 50MPH. The area is usually shallow to begin with, but the water level is down 8 to 10" right now which made it worse.
