I think you can't change the color.
The boat is already known for that, and too identifiable.
Anyone that is going to shy away from a Pantera based on color doesn't understand a Pantera.
Yeah, I'm changing the color of mine, but, the red didn't shy me away from getting a killer classic boat."Keep the bottle on the bar Ira, I won't be long".

Dude, that was a nice boat that had a 572 with around 700hp. Dry exhaust.
I had heard that it ran around 80 but never rode in it. The new owner posted once speeds around 74 if I remember correctly. Then the motor blew up and the story ends here. I have not seen it out in years but I have not been out much myself. I know both Steve and his friend had 28 Skaters. Very cool boat and was the first Pantera I was interested in. Light race hatch on it. I'll bet Jo knows the whole story. I'll have a look for that post.

Stormrider you are correct about Fred Cecil and Troy Dennis building that engine.

Good ol' Sonic Boom... She's looking good. Bummed that it went to europe, but hey at least its being enjoyed by someone. How did Boom stack up in terms of speed and performance?
