I have an HP 500 carb I was about to utilize. I ran into a new 2.3l Whipple for a carb application.
Is this too small? Are these decent units
Not looking to make big power egine is stock but with CMI long swept back headers?
600 hp @ 5600 RPM is target output on 93 octane any thoughts?
    Thanks
    Steve

it would be maxed out. You might be able to really overdrive it to make it work.

Although, if you are ok with 93 octane just shave the heads down and you'll be pretty close naturally aspirated.

We made 743hp with a 500 carbed and a 2.3 spinning it really fast...maxed out. It actually lived 2 years in a 29 Warlock. 625-650hp is realistic and reliable. www.htgracing.com

I think you'd be better off to run a 250 blower or just change the heads and cam and run NA. Probably looking at close to the same $$$ no matter how you do it.
