I know of a couple of those engines available and thought about putting them on a old KW/PETE COE and do some hauling overhere...Offshore Racing wasn´t designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.

10-14-2009 08:19 AMI hear screaming detroits in my sleep. The owner of the gravel pit here has a huge fleet of old Terex loaders and rock trucks that buzz around all day every day. Add to that the two 16-71 powered draglines that run a few hundred yards away.
