LOTO Reporting In

Well, got here at noon. Talked with RPM and his group, hooked up with Jimbo and George, Ryan and Isaiah, Pete and Tammy, Mark, etc.

They ran the first race of P boats. One of the best races I've ever seen between OMCO with George and Jim and the Fountain with Martin and (I'm sorry, I'll remember his name), tight on every lap. 12 laps later, I think Martin
beat Jimbo and George by about 20 feet......

Count appears to be 21 total biats entered, but 27 starts with some of the guys running Saturday and Sunday both.......

Will try to fill in more today as I get around. Nice dinner last night at the Horny Toad......

For the entire race. Then we went down on the docks and chatted for awhile, then Horny Toad for lunch, then around a bit and back to Horny Toad for dinner.

How are my OPA boys Your Gonna Have That and Ryan/Louie doing?

Talked with Louie at the meeting and Ryan last night. In practice yesterday Ryand said they were 5 mph faster lap speed at the end of practicing than at the beginning. Louie says you turn the wheel, nothing happens...

Not sure I'd want to be with him in a Vee right after he finishes today. Crank that wheel, oops....

The only boat scheduled to run today who is not, Stampede. They broke a drive off or something.

14 boats today, 4 heats total.

1st heat, 12:00, All vee's, two pace boat starts.

2nd heat, 12:45 estimated, All cats,

3rd heat, 2:00, all vee's again. Start in order of finish of first heat.

4th heat, 2:45 estimated. All cats again, again in order of finish.

Bob is running his 4 drive, 4 engine boat.... They told him to pass WAY outside....

Course is 4.73 miles, Awards are at 7:00 at the Horny Toad band stage....


Supposed to be great weather, 83 and sunny......

I found a bigger lens for sale on Ebay, told Terri I wanted to buy it cause size matters.....

She didn't seem to think it applied to lenses though.
