That's coming from US Bank in my home town. They never asked for money down. My Nova will be the money down I just need to sell it now. I thought I would check rate so I can start doing some homework on what will be in my budget. Didn't mention taxes. It's the same rate I had on my Nova and they said they would do it again.

I'm not in the field, but if you can't do it on an equity line than that doesn't sound like bad money to me. Of course I am of the mindset that if they will work with you on downpayment and term length than it isn't worth killing yourself to try to find someone who will lend a quarter point less - it just isn't worth the effort.

As a rule in the RV industry (very similar to marine) US Bank is a rate leader, and a good bank to work with. We use them as our primary lender. I recommend them.

USbank is typically competitive on rates but they have no appetite for performance boats. We do send a good bit of our cruiser and RV business to them though. They do loans from $50,000 to $350,000.
