We got a new range in my AO. 130 feet indoor, brand new build. NFA friendly. M249 SAW full auto rental.
Digital target controls. Enter exact distance in feet. Rail system, no cable bouncy. Rotating target holders. You can set them to rotate and reveal target.

Looks expensive...What's the price difference to the Outdoor Range You shoot at in the Summer?

Hard to compare, because all the outdoor ranges are clubs. As far as public indoor ranges, the one near my house is $20 first person, $10 additional person, all you can shoot. This new one is $20 first person, $10 second person for one hour. Another 30 minutes is $5. ($25 for 90 minutes) after that, if nobody is waiting you can keep shooting. I usually stay around 90 minutes at the "all you can shoot" place. So, for me, it would be $20 vs. $25 for 90 minutes.

If you set it exactly at 130 feet you could do ballistic math and get rifles sighted in, to a degree. A combat carbine 5.56 bullet, aimed at 200 yards, has a flight path that is level with the bore at 50 yards and 200 yards, with a hump in the middle. So theoretically, you could math your way to how many MOAs to be "low" at the 130 feet mark. Wouldn't be much.

They are NFA friendly, and I have been looking at NFA stuff. I want a transferrable full auto suppressed MP5 but would settle for an M16.

They have a rental full auto M249 SAW. I see online that they built the place ground up to be a range.

It takes much more thought to type a story then it does to tell a story.

I can tell stories all day. Typing a story is much harder. I hope I can translate my thoughts well enough to make it enjoyable. I'm need to walk around some and take a breather.
