    Tiger Paying Wife to Stay?
    #1
    http://www.dailyfinance.com/2009/12/...to-stay-wit%2F

Call me stupid, but when a marriage is on the rocks , don't people pay their wives to leave? I like tiger and feel no different about watching him play golf. The sport needs him. But I was no fan of Kobe buying his wife a ring to stay. Now this?

Nothing says "I'm in it for the money" more than getting a bigger severage package with a timeline attached. Maybe she should be the next Bank of America CEO.

    Oh, and Stecz. . .

Might be cheaper to pay her to stay than it is to pay her to leave......

Sounds like he's doubling her 'severance pay.' Maybe he's worried she'll spill the beans which will cost him money in the future.

When all you have left is the money, you take the money.

Do you honestly think that if Tiger was the world's best high school history teacher she'd have married him?

Pretty good math.....if his image gets tarnished then he loses more in endorsements than what it costs to keep her and more than likely he gets to nail all the azz he wants since it will be a "staged" marriage!

He's not paying her to stay. He's paying her to keep quiet.

What's the difference between a Cadillac Escalade and a golf ball ...?

Tiger can drive a golf ball over 400 yards.

Getting that grand sum of $80 million (the $5 million she's getting upfront, plus the $75 million in the new prenup), however, will require Nordegren to stay with Tiger for another seven years, show up with him at social events and in public as if they were still the perfect couple, and sign a nondisclosure form that will prevent her from ever telling her story.
