11-14-2010 04:01 PMWould the fountain get any points for Friday considering they were found not legal on that day?

That has to be the most laughable statement I have read, even in this thread. Yes it appears the Fountain cheated in this race. It proves nothing else. What is also an undisputed fact is that you cheated on numerous occasions, buzzi brush, bussle, bottom changes. It is also a fact that Randy's boat has had numerous changes that would disqualify it. And I do not know it as fact by undestruction supposedly has an illegal engine and hull changes. So before someone is penalized for a fly wheel, I believe all the teams should either comply or remove all the rules in the class.
That being said, it was a fantasic race, and ALL four teams should be proud.

you almost make sense,,,the bussell was determined legal,,the buzzi brush was determined an option not approved ,, NO PENELTYS ,,NO PROBLEM,,,AND THE BOTTOM OTHER BEING PERFECTLY STRIGHT HAS NO MODS DONE ,,UNLIKE THE FOUNTAIN I,M WILLING TO PROVE IT ,,TO THE PUBLIC,,!!

The White boat ( steve & gary ) is the only svl team that hasnt cheated or , broken the rules to win . And they still win .
That says it all.

11-14-2010 10:07 PMYes but they ran the billet plastic lightweight balancer (with lighweight powder coating to match and get passed Richie's prying eye) and the nitrogen filled connecting rods (been in the works for a while but released to fountain owners 'ONLY' late Saturday night. A whistler test was performed but during the test brian and the Doc started whistling dixie to each other which threw off the readings and deemed the results in-admissable. SBI are adding a new rule for 2011, hopped up ecm's but no whistleing during whistling.

11-15-2010 01:24 AMTyphoon had a great year..
I love it. You don't need to have the fastest boat to bring home the biggest trophies..

Cool shot Paul!!
My hats off to Steve and Gary. On Wednesday those guys manipulated the course flawlessly. Typhoon had the straight away speed to catch up to them but could never get into a position to control there line. Great job guys.
Day two we missed our setup a little. The water conditions actually changed between race one and two. I believe Sunprint left there same setup on leaving us in there spray.
Day three we hung it all out on the line putting the fastest setup on the boat and hoping for the best.It worked!!
Thanks for a great race!! I believe there were some significant events that took place over the weekend that really gave our class a shot in the arm. Please dont foul it up!

11-15-2010 12:43 PMI just saw I posted and deleted? That was not me! any ideas?
Great Job Randy and Colby!
We intended to run third in the last race if possible as it gave us the points we needed and the points Typhoon needed for 2nd overall. Randy and Colby were fast so we may have had no choice but to run 3rd anyway.
Unfortunately we had some type of sea pump failure either an impeller or a holed hose (not clear on that yet).
It was a good week of racing great fun and as I have said all year and never wavered:
THE FOUNTAIN WAS CHEATING!
