Looks like this run had a better turn-out than it did last year, http://www.boats.com/boat-content/20...-bigger-fleet/.
Anyone else wish he (or she) were there?

02-19-2010 06:24 PMI've done that run a couple of times when it was cold. And the boat show this year? Freezing.
I know, I know, I'm from California so "freezing" for me is relative. I'm a cold wimp.

Speed had "calibration issues" with his new potters and put the boat back on the trailer. Matt spoke with Bob Christie on the phone. Here is an excerpt from Matt's external article on Boats.com, courtesy of Speedonthewater.com:
" 'What are you going to do?' Christie told [sic] me over the phone as he and throttleman Chuck Burke idled back to Grove Harbor. "Obviously, I'm very disappointed, but there's nothing I can do about it now.' "Warning: This post may contain language unsuitable for minors or math not suitable for liberal-arts majors.
