I have 8 English Bulldogs puppies that are 5 weeks old. I have 6 for sale.

those are some spensive dogs, my sister has 2 and they are great dogs though. We just got a new puppy 4 week ago, otherwise I would consider it.

I've had many bulldogs through the years. Great dogs but high maintenance. My sister-in-law sells bulldog pups, maybe 20 - 40 a year. Are you having much luck at $2,000 per pup?

When we purchased out first family pet this past summer this breed was HIGH on our list. It fit our criteria very well. Beautiful creatures. We ended up going with another breed, but these dogs were a very close second for us.

English Bulldogs don't weigh 35 lbs.

Miss use of the original breed I don't like it but I'm sure they're nice.

They are expensive because of the smaller market for them and I believe they tend to have small litters. They need to be marketed through national publications and web sites. You will not have much luck selling English Bulldogs through the local newspaper! They are cool dogs; A friend of mine has one. I breed German Shepherds and have some pups now with great bloodlines going for $400. I am north of Detroit.

I know they are great dogs, and if I had originally intended on getting a big dog again, would have went to my sisters breeder up in Georgia. We put my 14 year old Dalmation down about 6 months ago, after 3 years of seizure meds, and constant supervision, he did OK so long as he was on the meds, but the dose kept getting bigger as he got older. One day we got home from work, and he was on the tile floor, and had been through a seizure sometime that day, and although he was alive, and alert, his muscles got real weak after seizures, this time he couldnt get up. We went about 4 months without a dog, then over the holidays, we were sitting around the house doing nothing, the wife found some smaller puppies at a local shelter while searching the internet. We went right down to the shelter, but all the smaller breed puppes had been adopted. There was a cage in the middle of one room with 3 Husky mix puppies in it, I fell in love with them, then found out that one of my wifes friends was in the adoption room adopting one. At this point it went through my head that I should take the other 2 so that all 3 could grow up together, but I really didnt want 1 large dog, nevermind 2. They were so cute, while I was playing outside with one of the puppies, the 3rd one got adopted by another family, instantly I picked up Harry(name the shelter gave him), and headed inside to finish the adoption. He is not pure bred, but it is my experience that pure bred is not always what it is cracked up to be. here is a pic of Harry.

We have sold 3 out of the eight. They are great dogs. I love them very much. I will hate to see them go. We just sold Cowgirl to a family in New York that lives on a 25 acre farm.

The father is 36 Lbs and the Mom is 45 lbs, and yes they do fart alot. You just get use to it.

Wow yours are small. Mine were just checked by the vet and need to loose 3-5lbs each and are twice as heavy as yours.

I've always thought the mixed was more loyal

I've had both pure breeds and mixed breeds over the years and I've always thought the mixed was more loyal

We have been trying to figure out the mix, my wife was looking at some online last night, and found his exact markings on a Husky mixed with some kind of wolf He is a great dog, just wish he would learn to bark when he needs to go out, wife has him spoiled, and he likes to nip, and wizz in the house when you would least expect it. He is 2 weeks into an 8 week training course, I hope it works, but since the course is being held at a chain pet store, with 4 other dogs(one of his exact size), he thinks its play time, and time to shop for a new toy, last week when they walked us thru the toy aisle, he was pulling everything he wanted off the shelves

Not to take away from the bulldogs in this thread, because my sisters are very healthy, and well trained, but my Dalmation was my first pure breed(grew up with shelter mutts), and although he was very loyal, he had health issues his entire life, and VERY hard to train.
